I’m a Las Vegas based b-girl representing Battle Born crew. Breaking was newly introduced to me 2 years ago but I have a decade of dance experience ranging from ballet, contemporary, and hip hop choreography. My technical foundation derives from Las Vegas Academy, a prestigious magnet performing arts school and that preconceived notion of movement helped pave the way for my breaking. Since I started breaking, i’ve been competing nationally and have won Red Bull BC One Las Vegas, Los Angeles, was a finalist in San Diego, and semi finalist at the US Finals. I also competed in an olympic qualifier and ranked one of the top 8 b-girls in the nation. It’s important for me to represent my crew Battle Born, my city Las Vegas, and the females of breaking and to demonstrate that it genuinely is never too late to learn a new craft.

Danté Harpe began his dance journey in the summer of 2013 and joined Texas Tech University's hip hop organization Dancers with Soul (DWS) later that fall. Since then, he has performed with The Neighborhood, Rev Crew, D-Town Crew, and most recently for Keith Urban and Dolly Parton at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Currently he serves as an assistant director for Bangerz Dance Company, teaches and directs throughout the DFW metroplex, and is working alongside local artists on music projects. Dante’ attributes his move to Dallas as the mark of his progression in the dance world. His story offers a testimony in advocating that ‘it’s not about how you start, but that you start somewhere’.
